Sleep apnea is a disorder involving the temporary stoppage of breathing during sleep several times in a night. These interruptions, or apneas, may result in disrupted sleep patterns and low blood oxygen levels. Some of the most popular forms include Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), central sleep apnea (CSA), and Complex Sleep Apnea Syndrome (CompSAS). Early detection and management are crucial to prevent complications such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and diabetes.
