It is, therefore, important for one to learn how to identify symptoms related to sugar addiction. Common symptoms include: 

 

  1. Intense cravings for sugary foods or beverages.
  2. Feeling unable to stop eating sugary foods once started.
  3. Mood swings or irritability when sugar intake is reduced.
  4. I am using sugar as a reward or to cope with stress.
  5. Physical symptoms like headaches or fatigue when sugar intake is reduced.
